COVID-19 presenting with central retinal vein occlusion: a case report

Introduction. Ophthalmologists worldwide are reporting various ophthalmic manifestations of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The most common ocular manifestation is conjunctivitis. Even a rarer complication, retinal vein occlusion may appear in patients with COVID-19. Case presentation. A 52-year-old man was admitted for the right eye. He had been complaining blurred vision several days. complete clinical and paraclinical evaluation patient performed, search associated diseases. tested positive infection severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Conclusions. Retinal circulation potential site thromboembolic complications should be aware this possible association maintain high level suspicion COVID-19 vascular occlusive diseases
